This is the complete Cosmik Streamer software for a Raspberry Pi 4. The download is free, and a licence is what turns the video on — without one you get the Wi-Fi and the console, and no picture.

What you need before you start
Nothing here is supplied by us — Cosmik Streamer is software only.
A microSD card, 8 GB or larger.
Everything on it is erased. A faster card makes recordings more reliable; 32 GB or more gives you room to record.
DJI Goggles 3, and a USB-C cable.
The cable must be a data cable, not charge-only. This is the second most common cause of trouble.
Raspberry Pi Imager.
Free, from raspberrypi.com. It opens the downloaded file directly — you do not need to unzip anything.
Setting it up
Five steps. The first four take about ten minutes, most of which is the card being written.
Step 1
Write the card. Open Raspberry Pi Imager. Choose Raspberry Pi 4 as the
device. Under Choose OS, scroll to the bottom and pick Use custom, then
select the file you downloaded. Choose your card under Choose storage — check
the size matches your card before you continue.
When Imager asks “Would you like to apply OS customisation settings?”, choose
NO, CLEAR SETTINGS. Cosmik Streamer sets itself up and does not use them.
Step 2
Start it. Put the card in the Pi and connect the power. Wait up to two minutes the first time — it is preparing the card for recordings. Nothing appears on a monitor; the Streamer is used from a browser.
Step 3
Join its Wi-Fi. On a phone or laptop, look for a network whose name starts with Cosmik — each Streamer has its own name, printed on the console once you are in. Join it.
Step 4
Open the console. In a browser, go to:
http://10.42.0.1
That address is the Streamer itself. Create your account when it asks — it is stored on your own device and never sent anywhere.
Step 5
Enter your licence key. Go to Licence and paste the key from your
purchase email. The page then shows your Streamer ID. On a phone with internet,
open cosmikstreamer.com/activate,
enter the key and that ID, and paste the code it gives you back into the Licence page.
Video starts straight away.
Your Streamer never needs to be online — only the phone or laptop you use for
this one step. Do it once, anywhere you have signal, and it works offline afterwards.

You can set it up, but not use it.
Without a licence the Wi-Fi, the console and the settings all work — and there is no picture. A licence is what turns the video on.
Included, and checked only when you ask.
The Streamer never phones home on its own. When it has internet you can check for updates from the System page, read what changed, and install if you want to.
That is normal.
Put a written card back into a PC and Windows may show no drive, or offer to format it. Say no. Most of the card is in a format Windows cannot read; the Pi reads it perfectly.
You do not need this file.
Updates arrive through the console. This download is for setting up a new card.
