What it is
A free desktop application for Windows and macOS. It does not replace Gyroflow — it runs Gyroflow for you, across a whole shoot.
Come home with thirty clips and stabilizing them means thirty rounds of the same thing: open the file, load the motion data, set the trim, choose the output, wait, repeat. The software is excellent. The repetition is what costs the evening.
Point it at a folder of footage. Set smoothness, horizon lock, resolution and naming once. It queues every clip through Gyroflow and hands back finished files — running several at a time, showing progress for each, and telling you when the batch is done.
The same flight is usually wanted more than one way: widescreen for the client, vertical for social, horizon-locked for the cinematic cut. Tick the versions you want and one run produces all of them, each named so you can tell them apart without opening them.
DJI O3 and O4 air units, GoPro, Insta360, Sony, and anything else Gyroflow supports. You do not need a Cosmik Streamer, a licence key, or an account — if you already stabilize in Gyroflow, this is a faster way to do it.
Free, with no licence key, no account, no trial period and no feature held back. It runs entirely on your computer — your footage is never uploaded anywhere, and it works with no internet connection at all.
This drives the Gyroflow command line, so Gyroflow itself has to be on the machine — it is free and open source too. The app checks for it on first run and tells you plainly if it cannot find it.
Streamer integration
The Streamer exports the request bundle. The Exporter opens it on the editing computer and builds the Gyroflow queue.
Set In and Out in the Streamer Media Library and add the requester and edit note.
The ZIP contains the shot list, one Gyroflow project per active request, and a readme.
Choose the footage folder, destination, output versions, and render settings.
The Exporter starts the installed Gyroflow command-line tool and checks each output.
Current application
The source file is never pre-trimmed or re-encoded. Gyroflow reads the original file and its motion data.
Drag in a folder, add individual recordings, or open the ZIP, extracted folder, or CSV from Streamer.
Press I and O in the preview to mark the parts worth keeping — as many as you like. Each marked part becomes its own finished file, in every version you selected. A single trim for the whole batch still works too.
Produce standard and horizon-locked versions, with independent horizontal and vertical resolutions.
Smoothness, zoom, horizon lock, sound, and GPU selection stay visible. Detailed Gyroflow options remain in the Advanced section.
Run several jobs at once, see the status of each file, receive a completion notice, and open the output folder.
Save settings and naming patterns for future jobs. Each output keeps a clear orientation and horizon-lock label.
Cameras split long recordings across several files. The Exporter recognizes the pieces of one flight and joins them back into one video — losslessly, with the motion data intact — before stabilizing.
A chart under the preview shows how hard the camera was moving at every moment, so the fast passes and the calm passes are visible before you choose what to keep.
Open any finished clip, move six simple sliders with a live preview, and save the result. Save a look you like and apply it to other clips. The written file always comes from the real encoder, never the preview.
Copying shows its real speed and time left; each clip shows its place in the queue and an honest estimate measured from the run itself — and the finish line says exactly what was made and where.
The shot list stays a single press — and before pressing, you can open the list of clips it will make: watch each moment, adjust its start and end, or give any one clip its own stabilization settings. All optional; skip it and the button works exactly as before.
Current boundary
Streamer requests are marked against its live-view recording. That recording has no motion data, so Gyroflow can trim it but cannot stabilize it.
Point the Exporter at the card and it finds the right file for each request automatically, by the filename the cut list recorded. If two different files share that name it says so rather than guessing, because guessing would decide which footage reaches a client.
A separate camera that flew on the drone — a GoPro, for example — is matched too: the Streamer works out where its footage lines up from the motion both cameras recorded (no clocks involved), and the same shot list then carries that camera's view of each requested moment. Insert either card and the Exporter cuts the views that live on it, in whichever order the cards arrive.
Free software
Cosmik Batch Exporter is MIT-licensed and can process ordinary folders without Cosmik Streamer. Gyroflow is installed separately.
Windows 10 / 11 · 64-bit · 113 MB. The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows may ask you to confirm before it runs — choose More info → Run anyway.
From this version on, the app can tell you when a new one is out: press Check for updates beside the version number. It shows you what changed before anything downloads, nothing installs until you press again, and it only ever checks when you ask it to.

Which one? Click the Apple menu → About This Mac. If it says Apple M1, M2, M3 or M4, choose Apple Silicon. If it says Intel, choose the Intel build.
Read this before you download. The Mac version is built on real Apple hardware and is the same app as the Windows one, but we do not own a Mac and have never watched it run. Everything says it should work; nobody has confirmed it. If you try it and something breaks, email support@cosmikstreamer.com and it will get fixed — being told is genuinely useful to us.
Opening it the first time. It is not signed with an Apple Developer ID, so macOS will not open it by double-clicking straight away. On macOS Sequoia (15) or newer: double-click it once, click Done on the message, then open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. The button only appears after macOS has blocked it once, and it disappears after about an hour. On Sonoma (14) or earlier: right-click the app and choose Open.
